Much as I love classic Rogue (before he killed the traitor general), I have found Kingdom to be much more enjoyable.

Much as I love the sound of the SID chip, the Spectrum has my heart

I feel as if I should give Alien Cubed another go, anyway - just because it's been many moons since I watched it.

I am happy you are considering giving it another go.  I hope if you do you get something positive from it.  I honestly do think the film has a reputation that isn't entirely deserved and does have something to offer.  If you don't get anything positive from it, that's fine.  The film is not without problems after all.

I think Alien 3 does suffer from the problem that it isn't the film that people wanted. If it had been a direct sequel to Alien it would probably be better regarded.

It was the regular one - just whatever Disney+ have slopped out. I'm now very intrigued to see the assembly cut to see what it resolves.

The Assembly cut has a slower build up at the start, and also more character building. I find the prisoners more sinister than the Alien in the assembly cut...

Yeah, I carried on for a bit longer, but then this new thing called Magic: The Gathering started sucking up all my money... (And the cards I bought then ended up worth a shedload more than the progs I would have bought :D )

In celebration, I have updated the SS2000 spreadsheet

Oh that is fantastic - and also very revealing. Poor ol' Kola Kommandos and Wolfie they didn't deserve such a hard time.

I'm sure Kola Kommandos will get bumped out once Big Dave is covered...

If they want to keep the budget down, then they should just do a remake of Star Trek IV :)

I also remember:
Grail Quest (Aimed at a younger age group than FF, but quite humorous and fun)
Skyfall (Very cool fantasy world that turned out to be a space colony gone wrong - it used coin flips instead of dice)
Forbidden Gateway (Cthulhu-esque gamebooks, sadly only two in the series)

Oh, and Sorcery, which was FF adjacent and set over four books.

Necroposting, but not sure where else to put this...

Not much love for Hawkeye on here...? It's been great, and the end-of-episode reveal for Ep5? It's kind of been teased, but... woah. That made me unfeasibly happy.

Yeah, I was bouncing up and down in my seat when that got revealed :)

I've watched all 4 seasons of Camp Cretaceous and really enjoyed them - the kids can be annoying at times, but that's because they're kids, and I'm (mostly) an adult.

Haven't had a prog (or indeed, any post) for three weeks now...

Well that sucks. What happened?

Just seems to be the post office being crap in Oxford at the moment - they changed all the posties routes (So I don't get my old postie anymore, which is a shame as he was really good), plus lots of staff sickness. I did see a postman out today, but nothing through the letterbox :(
