I'm afraid not - I'm about 160 miles north. Work does occasionally bring me to London, but usually on a train.

PM me if you want to try to sort something out though. Probably best we don't get into much more detail onto the open web :-)

Looks like I can get international shipping for the entire lot for under £70. Sounds a lot when compared to the cost of the progs!

Let me know what you think,

Richard

I'll look into it today and get back to you. We're probably talking 25 kilos for all of them, and I've never sent anythig so big internationally!

Well, at £20 per hundred I'm pretty much giving them away! To you, £60 for the lot! :-)

Shipping via Collect+ store-to-store is only £3.49 per hundred too, if you collect from one of their collection points.

Just 742 - 1039 left. Any sensible offer considered.

Unfortunately, due to ever increasing space constraints, I must put up for sale:

Progs 742 - 1399, including prog 1208, but missing 1398. They are all in at least good condition although it is posible that one or two have bent corners. The earliest progs have a name and address on the front cover.

Megs 2.35 to present, missing 3.26-3.79, again in at least good condition. I've got all the bundled GNs too.

Because the space requirementes won't wait, I'm going to take silly money for these. £20 per block of 100 progs, plus shipping via myHermes. Megs are £20 per 50.

If you want to check out pictures of the collection (as it was before I sold anything), please look here: http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/1944923/1/2000ad?h=65d287

Thanks,

Richard

100 Progs just seemed like a sensible chunk, to avoid splitting the collection too much. I could do smaller chunks I suppose, perhaps 50 for £17.50, but I would definitely want them to be in sequence. If you are after a selection of Progs across the range I have, I'm afraid I'm not yet at the stage where I'm going to open the collection up to cherry-picking, although I suspect that time will come!

Thanks,

Richard

I would be happy to split the collection for anyone wanting a chunks of about 100 Progs. Or in the case of IndigoPrime, 54 Megs (I've PMed you by the way)

Well, since it's nearly Chistmas and I'm feeling festive and generous, I will take any (sensible) offers if anyone agrees with robo-hunter (who has now put me in a slightly awkward bargaining position ;)) about the value of this collection  :-\

Hi All,

I hope no-one minds the re-post, but I've recently sold some of my progs and megs and thought I would start a new thread to list what I now have available should anyone want them.

Fortunately the previously imposed deadline to sell or otherwise dispose of the collection has been kindly rescinded after some bribery and prostration (and locating a completely innocuous place to store it probably helped).

I have for sale:

Progs 742 - 1600, including prog 1208, but missing 1398, 1409,1521,1532 and 1552. They are all in at least good condition although it is posible that one or two have bent corners. The earliest progs have a name and address on the front cover.

Megs 2.35 to 5.208, missing 3.71 and 3.75, again in at least good condition.

I have just sold 100 Megs and 100 Progs together for £100, so offers of around £35 per 50 for the remaining Megs and a bargainous £35 per hundred for the Progs.

If you want to check out pictures of the collection (as it was before I sold anything), please look here: http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/1944923/1/2000ad?h=65d287

Thanks,

Richard

Classifieds / Re: Wanted: 2000AD Back Issues

Hi,

Are you still after back issues? I have nearly all of the ones you are after in your last post, with only 3 or 4 individual exceptions and am happy for you to make me an offer.

Thanks,

Richard

Still having email and broadband issues - I'm not getting alerts to replies to this thread.

Looks like we've gone a bit off-topic, although the actual topic is a purely selfish one from my point of view :-)

To get back to the point, is anyone out there interested in progs 742 - 1700? Or Megazines 35 - present?

Thanks,

Richard

Sorry for the delay folks - I've had (and am still having) some new house broadband activations  isues.

I've put a selection of images here: http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/1944923/1/2000ad?h=65d287.

I've had a couple of offers for some more recent progs and megs and time is short, so I will take any sensible offers for the older ones. I do have the mythical prog 1208 too :-)

Thanks,

Richard
