I'm looking for suggestions for 2 horror movies me and the girlfriend can watch back to back in the dark. In particular we are after something scary. Something intense scary, not necessarily gore filled. Any suggestions? Bonus points if either of us have nightmares! Do your worst...

*SPOILERS*

So I spend the last 4 days watching Breaking Bad from start to finish. And now I've got thinking about what would have happened next.

Here is how it goes down in my head :

Skyler is jailed for laundering drug money through the car wash (as well as buying the car wash with drug money and all the rest of it)

Holly and Flynn both go into foster care. If I want to be real twisted I could go on to say that Flynn goes on to develop a drug habit of his own.

Marie moves to Washington, if only to get away from what had happened back home. Her shoplifting continues without Hank there to help her.

Saul finds a new life as a used car salesman in Nebraska

Ted (who is never going to walk again) is caught by the IRS and spends the rest of his life paying for it.

and finally Jesse is caught by the police while fleeing the compound and is jailed for life for all of his crimes.

Pretty bleak stuff huh. I would be interested to know what anyone thinks of my conclusions and would love to hear yours.

Me and my girlfriend have just come up with this game. You get the top 40 singles list for the week you were born for each person. Then using youtube, you listen to them one at a time and decide which one was the better song. Not really a game that anyone can win. Just a bit of fun. Works well if there is a bigger gap between the two people playing I suppose. Of course you can also play parent against child, friends vs friends...whatever. Just a good way to listen to some music with people and that sort of thing.

If anyone got this far and gives it a try let us know how it went. Also feel free to list any memorable head to heads that pop up while you play.

As a pretty big gamer, most of my family when I see them will hit me with the line "have you got the new xbox/playstation yet?"

I'm sure I'm not the only one. And the reason that I haven't made the jump yet is the lack of games I want to play. Every generation of console in the past has had one game which was reason enough for me to go out and buy it. PS1 had wipeout and ridge racer. Xbox had halo and PGR. 360 had PGR3 and gun.

So what game are you waiting for that will be enough to make you go out and buy next gen? (or should that be current gen now?) I've been keeping my eye out and so far nothing has caught my eye. Hopefully e3 will change that.

What I remember - A side scrolling on rails first person shooter where you are on an alien planet, shooting aliens. Was on the Sega Master System.

Does anyone remember this show? There are a few episodes to watch on youtube. I remember watching it as a kid on the telly. Disappointed to see that the dvd is out of print. It was a great show with some good story lines from what I recall (although I was only 8 at the time)

Just wondering what everyone else thought of it?

A workmate asked me this one today and I don't know the answer. So perhaps on of you knowledgeable lot might be able to help.

All we have to go on is a line of dialogue or two. It's from an English gangster film and the scene involves the boss of the gang giving a speech to the boys. As he gives the speech one of the old guys of the gang goes to his mate "what did he just say?" to which his mate replies "he says it's all bollocks, Reg" or something like that.

That's all the clues I can give. Anyone got a clue what he is talking about?

I was watching Psycho the other day (the proper one) and thinking about the shot for shot remake that was done a while back. With the advances in technology what (if any) old classic would you like to see remade in the same way? And who would you have to play the lead role?

I'd like to see the dollars trilogy done. Those landscapes filmed in 4k and with the most up to date digital sound would be great. I'm not sure who I would pick to replace Clint Eastwood though.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm watching Rango and there is a part near the start after he falls out of the car and he lands on the windscreen of the car of Raoul Duke and Dr Gonzo! So I thought I'd make a thread where other people can post similar cool stuff they see in movies.

Since I'm probably the first person here to see the weekend I thought I'd start a thread to find out what everyone is up to this weekend.

Me, I'll be reading comics, playing computer games and practicing guitar. And watch a few films. Pretty boring stuff really. Lets hope someone else has something a bit better to contribute...

Has anyone had any experience using this service? From what I understand you pay 3.99 a month for the first 3 months and then 7.99 after and you get to download 1 audiobook a month.

What I can see on the website is what format the books are downloaded in. Are they only listenable through a certain app or can I download the book as an mp3 file to keep forever? I'm guessing if it's the first one then the "ownership" will expire after a certain time making it a rental service more than actually buying the book?

I am keep to get some discworld books as I want to start walking and listening to books while going for a walk actually sounds fun. Plus I will be more likely to walk further since I want to know what happens next. Win win.

If anyone could recommend any other services that might work for me please let me know.

I've seen some people on the internet post up videos of themselves/family where there is a video of dancing stuff (elves, gnomes, eskimos etc) where you upload pictures of peoples faces and then it makes it into a hilarious (read annoying) video

Does anyone know a website like this? I know there are apps you can get that do it, but I don't have a smartphone/tablet.

So I thought I would be a smart guy and get to live in Tenpenny Tower without blowing up Megaton. I planted the detonator on the nuke, then I helped Roy take over the tower. When I got the balcony Roy and Mr Burke were talking, and I still had the option to blow up Megaton. Naturally I shot Burke in the head (well he is a bit of a scumbag) but now I can't disarm the bomb and I can't get the suite key. Which means I have no place to call my home (or a bobblehead stand)

And to make matters worse, I don't believe there is anyone who repairs equipment in the tower, and as I haven't "found" Rivet City yet I will have to conserve/repair my weapons which means I can't even go back to before I shot Burke and blow up Megaton.

So much for trying to score myself an apartment without killing innocent people. Anyone else run into similar unplanned situations while playing?
