After hearing such good things about 'Charley's War', I decided to take the plunge and order the three volume set from Amazon. Although war stories are not really my thing, I am looking forward to reading what I hope will be another Pat Mills classic.

If regened has indeed bitten the dust, I for one will not be missing it.

I thought this was a rather better instalment of 'Deadworld' - I could almost comprehend everything in this week's storyline. This is due for a complete re-read of the entire thing sooner rather than later. In the meantime, another hardcover would not go amiss.

I didn't get my Thrillmail this week which usually comes through on a Wednesday night. Did everybody else get theirs?
Grateful if you could post to let me know.

A slightly disappointing Prog for me this week. I used to really look forward to reading 'Deadworld', but I feel it has  lost its way and a lot of it is confusing to know who is who and what is going on. Definitely room for improvement with this one. Even the two better strips this week, 'Dredd' and 'Thistlebone', I felt were not as strong as usual.

Anyone else get a Rev. Ian Paisley vibe from the Bishop of the Reformed Church of Grud and Guns in Dredd?

I didn't think Meg 465 was out till next week (third Wednesday of the month)? Could not find a copy round my parts.

I have now been in touch with Rebellion about the omissions in 'The Out', 'Fiends of the Eastern Front' and 'America 2' and have been assured by kind staff that any mistakes will be rectified for future graphic novel runs and for digital immediately.

(Many thanks to Batman's Superior Cousin for assisting me in this!)

Lorenzo - just out of interest, is your B&W Omnibus the old black Titan edition? Is it really superior to the newer colour edition?

I must say that I prefer classic black and white stories to stay faithful to their original form and not be revisited unnecessarily. However, I did buy the fairly recent coloured Halo Jones book and thought it was great. Probably will upgrade my Stainless Steel Rat to this new colour edition if it comes out in hardcover.

Did Eagle reprint the entire story?

A nice deluxe hardcover of this to complement volume 1 would be great!

Wonder if there will be a hardcover webshop exclusive edition like the black and white edition?
#14
How much smaller is this new edition compared to the original hardcover?

Enjoying 'Thistlebone' the most of the current line up. I really hope for a third hardcover collection of this series; maybe later in the year.
