It's shameless self-pimping time again!

The finished version of the Judge Dredd Belt Buckle is now available from http://www.termight.co.uk/ - order one right now! - but for those interested in such things, here's the final 3D model:

And there's lots more 2000 AD 3D stuff on my website - http:/www.michaelowencarroll.com - for your perusal!

Coming to this a bit late - but had to say nice job. I knew when I joined the site there would be people into the same sort of thing as I am, but there looks like a lot of fellow 3D user too - great!!  ;D

Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Resurrecting this thread 'cos it's more ecologically friendly to reuse an old thing than to discard it and create a new one...

Here's my latest CGI Dredd image:

Great stuff Mike. Working in education, I have access to Autodesk programs including Maya and 3ds Max, both of which I've tried out. I've also experimented with the horrible-to-learn blender and it's all way to complex and non-intuitive to use that I've pretty much given up on it all. As a result people who can do this stuff are like wizards to me and it really impresses me no end.

I can make a disc out of a sphere in wings3d
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.

Dog - I've checked out Blender a couple of times... it really is incredibly confusing! I'm using Cinema 4D version 10. It's a few years out-of-date but I've never found anything else that's as powerful AND as easy to use. One day, when I'm rich, I'll upgrade to the latest version...

Didn't you win the lotto?

Yes, but I spent it all on fast drugs, loose cars and hard women...

Good man. Every penny well spent.
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.
