Title: Dan Abnett on Vampirella
Post by: Link Prime on 02 November, 2020, 04:00:33 PM
Maybe old news now, but I just read that current 2000AD MVP Dan Abnett will be writing a forthcoming cosmic-set Vampirella mini-series.
Artwork by erstwhile Art Droid Paul Davidson.

Looks nice.

I saw this but Vampirella, can the mighty Dabnett even take me to that title?

If anyone can can-can, Dan can.

Don't be dismissive of the character Colin - Christopher Priest has been wringing some decent horror fare out of her leotard in the past year or two.

Will be on the look-out for this. The last few years he has become a trusted writer and I will purchase something just because he has written it.

Sorry to report that I won't be reading this past issue 1.

Competent work from DA as always, and nice flowing art from Paul Davidson, but the premise doesn't hold my interest - no idea, or inclination to care, who the large cast of the Z list Justice League are.
