Talk about a major nostalgia fest.

This has got to be the greatest idea to date. (http://www.game.co.uk/en/the-recreated-sinclair-zx-spectrum-2050251/?cm_mmc=game-_-Brand-_-2017_18Wk8PreownedDeals-_-Banner1)

Better even than that, there's an official new Spectrum home computer being released.  :)

That Recreated one is Elite's Bluetooth keyboard. It's faitly authentic in looks but a dumb unit that requires emulation software to control.

I reviewed it and the original Vega here: https://www.stuff.tv/features/zx-spectrum-vega-vs-recreated-zx-spectrum

You can buy a PSP off eBay with the homebrew stuff already installed and ready to run everything from a ZX Speccy to a PSX.  Until its battery died that's pretty much all I used mine for, as the huge text and chunky pixels of old Speccy games really felt at home on that screen.  Felt a lot more robust than those plug-in joystick things that have emulators built into them, too - but then it would, as it's essentially just a PSX controller.

I wish I'd grabbed one of those off of someone who was selling locally. PSP + emulators + OutRun 2006 sounds pretty bloody great to me. Although quite when I'd have time to play on the bloody thing, I've no idea.

Long toilet breaks are your friend.  And are also better for your bum.

PSPs - if you don't mind jailbreaking one yourself - should be dirt cheap these days.  I bought one of the pink slim models for £20 a few years ago so a niece could play Animal Crossing, though granted this was before all these defacto pawn shops like CEX popped up all over the place to buy stuff off junkies and thieves second hand consoles and games.
