The last case seems to have worn itself out to a close. Judge PVS with repect I would like to submit a new case for the enjoyment of the court.
Many of us refer to "classic" 2000AD. But what stories are deserving of such a title? We now have a list of the stories that no-one will defend. What a bout a list of stories most of us like but is there anyone out ther who didn't like them? Is anyone prepared to say "I didn't like the Apocoalypse War because..." etc?

The first stage of this second case is to nominate the stories you think are "classic" deserving 10/10 on the voting forms. Then to condemn the se stories to not being classics other people need only say they don't like them even better if there is an explanation.

My suggested classics are:-

Necropolis
Mechanismo
Song of the Surfer
Apocalypse War
Bad Company I and II
The Ballad of Halo Jones I, II & III
Strontium Dog - The Ragnarok Job, Rage

What else?

The Amstor Computer

To the list above, I'd add:

Zenith Phase 1 + 2
ABC Warriors - The Black Hole
America

...And two of my personal 10/10s:

The VC's
Fiends of the Eastern Front

Mudcrab

Think I'd have to add

Judge Death
4 Dark Judges
Meltdown Man
Nemesis - everything!!
NEGOTIATION'S OVER!

Wood

Not Nemesis 7-10! & was OK - but not to previous standard. 8 and 9 were the usual Pat Mills Preach-a-rama(tm). And 10, well. What a disappointment.

And I'm afraid I'd have to veto Mechanismo - while a fine story, it ain't a 10/10.

Personally, I would like to propose:

SD: Portrait of a Mutant
SD: Incident on Mayger Minor
DR and Quinch

and, more controversially, perhaps:

Hewligan's Haircut
Indigo Prime: Killing Time
