it may not be worth it.

Think there's going to be some stonking entries this month! Shame vehicles aren't my forte but if I start early...Vrrrroooommm! :)
I can't enter this as I did it a little while ago but here is the Lawnmaster.
I have started on one for the competition. :)
I remember that Lawnmaster....stone cold classic! Here's my entry. Bit of an experiment. First time using Google Sketchup to build models and also first time painting in Manga Studio. Didn't come out as I'd wanted, but great fun to do!
Darren, very nice job there mate. My plan was to have a go in sketchup as well to get basic shapes and lighting sorted and then work on that. Will have to make a bloody good job of it to better yours though! ;)
Cheers amines2058, I think I've got to grips with the very basics of Sketchup. Determined to get better though! ;)
Must be something in the water. I'm currently building a Lawmaster too (though in Max) for use in a Zarjaz strip.
Might post it up on the FB page for a giggle.
Nice work Darren! Think this month's going to consist of tough competition... :)

Look in on this comp when I get time and really enjoy what I see a lot of talent out there. If time permits I really want a crack at this months although mine will be a scribble with my trusty bic biro again
Dear talented visual artist types
Spare us a minute to read five very short stories and give us poor words only types your votes in this month's short story competition.
There's a free 2000AD trade paperback in it for one of you
Thanks
Here my first attempt will see if i can get something better added
but really busy at the time being
Saor Alba
Like it Junox. Very imposing :)
Cliff Robinson may have something to say about the smiley boot though :o
It's becoming a multimedia comp, all to the good...
This was an old one but i thought I'd throw my hat in the ring as I haven't entered for an age. Played with the image and added a few logos and an old restyled 2000AD logo. Not quite Pye-01 I know.
Another try. This one is a bit less like a Justice Department steam roller! :D

Mod Rules
I think these might be the antithesis of the Lawmaster, but fun to ride I think
(http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2014/251/9/8/judge_dredd_mod_rule_by_allied72-d7ygqpj.jpg)
Awesome stuff all round, guys. Dan, that's incredible!
The Akira influences are strong in this one :)
Love the Mod Squad. This should have been the design for Brit-Cit!
Caroline Lucas would be proud of my recycling.
ok thats my other attempt fresh
Back to the under city
I think we have a winner but I'll throw this in anyway...:-)

Some sweet rides coming.
It's been some time since I last threw my hat into this ring, but I had a bit of fun with this one.
And long may it mark a return. I for one have missed ya stuff quite a bit Mr Askham (which probably just means I'm not looking in the right places I guess)
Aw, thanks Colin, much appreciated.
Nice, definately a hint of Steve Dillon in there :D
Drokkin' lovely Chris!
Very cool Chris. ;)
Dredd rides side-saddle? :o

Cheers for putting that on here for me CFM, you're a gent. :D

(well someone had to)
New favourite.
Some cracking entries there guys. Fingers crossed I will be able to post my entry up in next few days. Have already done 1 version which is ready to post but upon viewing the standard of entries already posted I am trying to do a second pic.
Have really enjoyed this months comp though!

He's just passed Ian Paisley Block, where there's a big bicycle race on - that's right, they're all holding a Raleigh.

Great stuff coming in, chaps. Looking forward to seeing more.
I've got three ideas. Which to do, I wonder?

Perhaps you should try cycling through each of the ideas in your head. This may start a chain of events to allow you to create your masterpiece, make sure you are not to tyred though otherwise you may wheely spoil your effort. :D
Don't worry I have already got my coat and am walking out of the building :-[
Aaaggh What have I started! Sorry everyone ....

Tread drift.
No, that was terrible. Stop it. Bring back the drawings.
Fingers crossed I will post my entry up in the next few days to make up for that abysmal post...sorry all!! :-[
I was at work today and scribbled another design for a lawmaster, tempted to do it properly and post a second entery. Although dont stand a chance as I am blown away by whats already been posted. OUTSTANDING

Good one, IndigoPrime.
Some nice work on here. It's been a while, but how could I resist doing a Lawmaster?
Digital file. The original is roughly A2 size. Took me a day or three to put together. Hope you enjoy!

Fantastic! :D
Flipping amazing.
That last one is a cracker. I like the bullet holes, and the colouring is fantastic, especially the background.
Damn, that IS good!
WOW! I can hear the low rumble of the engine, top marks warwick!
Warwick... THAT LAWMASTER IS THE BO
LLO
CKS!
bloody 'ell!
Hell thats good , I am in awe :o

Lawmaster. A kind of 'Cursed Earth' style Lawmaster.

Warwick, Fungus & Neil some lovely entries there plus the rest of you!! Need to still try and finish mine >:(
It's 2000AD meets Top Gear! Great work all round, guys. Definitely some sweet rides there.
Some great stuff on this particular page of the thread. I love Warwick's one, it really gives the Lawmaster a sort of military hardware feel that I've never seen even in the prog.
Adam Green - Death's Lawmaster

Well here's my Lawmaster, wanted to head down the realistic route so basically used the standard police bike design with an eagle and some guns!
It's up against some great work so I've called an end to faffing with little details and sent it into the ether to make up the numbers... :)
(http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj605/Sharedvortex101/LawmasterArtComp.jpeg) (http://s1270.photobucket.com/user/Sharedvortex101/media/LawmasterArtComp.jpeg.html)
(http://th00.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2014/264/c/1/2000ad_lawmaster_competition_by_philtactics-d800zoe.jpg) Here's my entry. Opted for a forward leaning pose rather than the usual leaning back pose you normally see on Dredd when he's on a bike.
Nice first post, Philtactics. Welcome o the forum! ;)
The usual shite from Pete Wells Block...

I was going to add a T-Rex behind him to gain the ever-influential dinosaur vote, but wanted to get my picture out there before that tricky Pete Wells did something involving stabilisers...
P.S. Great picture Pete!
Well I've only gone and started another Lawmaster picture, I just wasn't happy with the 1st entry. Hopefully the next will have a little more oomph. However I reckon that deadline's going to be close! again...

Some great entries this month, an inspired choice of subject. I'm off visiting friends and family back in the Motherland for a couple of months but I managed to cobble together this entry in Photoshop.
I went for a design for a Dredd 2 Lawmaster. I liked the hunchbacked look of the movie bike and built on that by resculpting the fairings and incorporating design cues from the comic, such as the large central headlight with the smaller side lights and the front mounted badge.

Drokk me that's good.
What a great crop of entries so far, brilliant work on such a simple brief.
All great stuff. Those last two would of made outstanding movie Dredd bikes. Superb! :o
That's fantastic.
Well for what it's worth (there's some great entries so far) here's take 2:
(http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj605/Sharedvortex101/LawmasterTake2.jpeg) (http://s1270.photobucket.com/user/Sharedvortex101/media/LawmasterTake2.jpeg.html)
Has a bit more action than my 1st attempt, still sticking with the idea of seeing the bikes of today as Lawmasters.
Stu are you intending to REPLACE your first entry with this one or have this as a separate second entry?
Let's go as a second entry CFM, interesting to see if either is liked by the lovely audience out there. I'm not expecting to trouble the top 3.
I can't wait to see the voting thread with all these lovely bikes stacked up. Slurp!
Two entries here from Facebooker Hagi O'Shea

This ends tomorrow at midnight!!
I really like that second Lawmaster, but the saddle can't be very comfortable given how gingerly Joe is walking away from it!
