I'm going to mess with them a little touch up way. I just have to fix Death's helmet and Mortis's shoulder.

Thanks very much Woolly. Yeah I'd say A3 is this piece's destined print size. A2 is a bit much for it and A4 shows nothing of its hidden gems. Such as the utility belts and the bits of detail pinning it together. A2 would be too much guts in ya face on the other hand. Mind you if I was decorating my twenty year old self's man cave I might be tempted. A3 would be a good fit in any home though.

Thursdays project. Thomas prompted me to do the Fantastic four, dark judges from judge Dredd. Just how well known are these guys now? Are they known globally? Or just as far as Europe? How are we all today?

Of course Special Relativity is recorded to being around since 1905 that's not the issue. The issue is education of the general public. I assimilated this info from Halo Jones but took it as science fiction of course. But, when faced with the truth of the matter I was already partly informed.

What about Finlay Day? Did he purport the idea of genetics onto readers?

John Wagner of course introduced the political element rather subtly too.

All of the masthead strips had lots of informative infrastructure to their stories.

As JBC points out, religion was held up to the spotlight on more than one occasion and as growing mind we were able to deduce an informed opinion from such stories.

It's Saturday night and I'm doing nothing in particular and scrolling through FB vids when someone starts talking about the Einstein theory of time. They mention Interstellar where they go to a planet with heavy gravity and come back to find time slowed time down for them.

Am I right in thinking Alan Moore shared this concept with Halo Jones on the planet of heavy gravity in which a war was played out? Did she not come back to find a world moved on?

If so, how many times has 2000ad thoroughly accomplished grafting in some pretty futuristic concepts into the pages of venerable comic before mainstream audiences were breaking down such fascinating concepts in everyday life. Changing their worlds completely where as a 2000ad reader will invariably shrug off the notion as something already grappled with in the 1980s.

Sorry to bother the board but I ashamedly do not have a copy of halo jones at hand atm.

A bit plasticky on the organic materials but I'm liking certain incidents in this one. Shoulder pads are uneven but what the hey, maybe he's got different categories per victim. Maybe be able to start adding a little flare to the next ones...

Of course I know I have to develop my own style and such and not compare myself to other artists but I'm looking at  cleaning up my disciplines of approach to canvas more than following a certain artist.

Again trying to get a vibrant crisp digital edge on the scoring of the Judge Death here. Again ending up with an oily rendition.

They're probably expensive to manufacture and have to be custom made, so you'd want them to reach adult size first. Or am I overthinking it?

Nope not over thinking. I was sure it was double shoulder pad and half badge but I checked a recent regened about Cadet Dredd and they're all sporting eagle pads, and full badges. cept for the tech cadets. They'd have the equivalent pads and badges differed too.
