Surpisingly entertaining, I expected a load of tosh but found it an enjoyable hour and forty minuites or so.

Top tip: stay 'till credits finish.

Stands up well, although (without giving anything away) some characters could have had more to do.

A few suprises in there as well, couple of genuine 'didn't see that one coming' moments.

Not sinister, more...'eXpected' really.

Still,  I enjoyed it.  Vinnie Jones is crap, and the dialogue is poops in places, but it's an action movie with mutants...and that's what you get.

I liked the look of Phoenix too.

I don't recall the teen characters being quite so annoying in the second one as they are here.  The actress who plays Kitty stares off-camera a bit too much and reminded me of Bobby from King of the Hill, plus she walks like she needs a poo when in costume.  Iceman and the fire-making chap are a bit too vapid, but they're not exactly deep characters to begin with.  Thought it owed a lot to Ultimate X-Men in terms of execution, and pretty much lifts the Grant Morrison/Joss Whedon storylines wholesale, though going into specifics would spoiler a few things.
It's all right.  My main gripe with the first two was that the second one was the closer of the two to actually being something more than an extended advertisement for its sequel.  This one feels more like an actual movie.

I wonder which came first - Vinnie Jones' line "I'm the Juggernaught, Bitch", or the internet meme with the cartoon and the odd accent.  And I couldn't be arsed waiting for the end of the credits - what did I miss?
