No new thread today makes me wonder

I did not get my subscription copy of the prog on a Saturday morning for the first time in yonks!

Anyone else bereft?

Hi chaps.
I know some of you already have this so I wonder if any of you could give me a run down on it (unless there already is a review somewhere and I've missed it).
I plan on buying it but I want to know what's the difference between the standard edition and the limited edition.
How many covers are covered? All of the Judge Dredd ones? (unlikely I imagine). One of my favourite things about the old yearbooks was the run down of best covers of the previous years so I imagine this would be a great book.
What size is it? Could someone maybe post up some pages of the book?

Starts well with a beautiful wraparound A.B.C Warriors cover. Lots of shooting and general mayhem. Good times.

Judge Dredd. Not a fan of the artwork. Coming after the terrific art work of Weston last week this was always going to suffer in comparison. I don't like it. I want that one.

Brass Sun. Enjoying this so far.Beautiful double page spread.

A.B.C Warriors. The art by Langley is perfectly suited to a story practically dominated by robots. Jolly good script too. The story that most wants me to read next weeks prog.

Terror Tales. "Blackspot" As a horror fan I really enjoyed this. Not overly clever but fun none the less and does not out stay it's welcome.

Grey Area. I enjoy this but the artwork is all a bit 'static' for my tastes.

A good prog that alleviates some of the hangover from last week's party.

Does anyone know the date of the last ever Action comic before it joined with Battle?

I've tried seven penny nightmare site but they seem very disinterested after it came back from the ban.

I see another copy sold on eBay today.
Can anyone tell me what issue of twoth issues of ES8 were offered as prizes and how many issues there are likely to be 'out there'?

The last one went for £21 (ish) which seems low to me (although it looked tatty). What pages haven't been reprinted or scanned onto the interweb (if any).

The last issue I need to compete my collection.
I intend to get the 'best of's" bound as a precursor to getting every single issue of the prog and the meg bound in bestest leather for posterity but want to do the monthly first as a tester.

Anyone have a spare copy they are willing to part with for cold, hard cash or, if necessary, services rendered. I would prefer to part with cash but am preparred to go down on bended knee if needed if you get my drift...Please say cash.

Hi, just a quick query.
Does anyone know how much a complete run of Eagle comics (14th April 1950 - 26th April 1969) would be worth (approx 990 issues give or take)?

I have a friend who's father has the whole run.

What the vehicles that Dredd used in "The Cursed Earth" were called in real life.

By 'real life' I mean you used to be able to buy them as toys before they were featured in the pages of 2000 AD but I cant remember the name of them.

I could go and look through all my old progs for the answer but that would involve a lot of de-bagging...

Anyone out there to save me from the dreaded de-bagging...
