I managed to book a table today so I'm looking forward to sharing a beer with a few of the Southern boarders

alex this isnt con related but would just like to say that a friend showed me your work and even though im not the target market for scantily clad nazi girls I think you're a bit of a digital colouring genius. if you are said target market check out alexs stuff! alex for covers, may many simoleons come your way and take care x
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

Its a good job I had the day off on Monday otherwise I wouldn't have been able to book a table. Selling out 300 tables in 3 hours is crazy!

See you all in November!

More guests added and a couple of interesting things to note. Firstly as The Beat notes (http://comicsbeat.com/thought-bubble-2013s-guest-line-up-so-far-10-girls-11-guys/) the ratio of male to female guests to date is almost 1:1, which is incredibly positive progress.

Second Francesco Francavilla - YAH!

A nice little line-up so far and it's only just starting!
Really happy to see Francesco Francavilla added. I've got Detectice Comics #871 signed by both Scott Snyder and jock, just need him to complet the trinity. Plus a sketch for the sketch book would be great as well.

OK need a little help here. Can anyone suggest any cheap hotels with free parking near Thought Bubble?

We usually stay with friends but that isn't an option this year so were looking to get something booked sharpish.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Dodsy, the holiday in Express is next door to the gig, and the car park on the other side of the venue does a full weekend parking ticket for £15.

Last year's was great so I'm booking up again. It'll be easier to get around too this year thanks to no insanely massive queue for Charlie Adlard (people were queing up to join the capped 'official' queue - queing to queue!).
Check out my new comic Supermom: Expecting Trouble and see how a pregnant superhero tries to deal with the fact that the baby's father is her archnemesis. Free preview pack including 12 pages of art: http://www.mediafire.com/file/57986rnlgk0itfz/Supermom_Preview_Pack.pdf/file

Sideshow Bob

I was at Thoughtbubble last year and was waiting in the relatively small queue for John McCrea ( another of my favourite artists ).....
When John arrived he thought that hardly anyone was waiting for him, as the queue for Charlie Adlard was absolutely massive.....
He was most pleasantly surprised when about 20 folk said they were all waiting for him.....He said " Are you sure you're in the right queue ??"....
An absolutely great bloke, very friendly and extremely 'chatty' and shared a few tales about himself and Garth Ennis....I ended up with a signed copy of the Hitman compendium,  and a fabulous sketch of Butcher from The Boys with Terror,  which only cost me £20....
Brilliant !!....and will definitely be going this year if I can 'mooch' a room at my brothers' house.... :D
" This is absolutely NO PLACE for a lover of Food, Fine Wine and the Librettos of RODGERS and HAMMERSTEIN "......Devlin Waugh.
