And didn't she recently have to undergo a fitness evaluation as she passed the big five-oh?

This weeks Dante confirms Jena as 30 (+/- 1 year depending on when her birthday falls), what with a dated flashback & her age at the time.

'What, you mean Judges get Stookie?'

Something like that, according to Grant. Not to mention lashings of caffeine and indeed a bit of whizz
"Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest"

John Giant Clay wasn't 76 years old when he died. In the Meg 216 Clay as an old man reminicises about the time he spent with the Harlem Heroes 75 years previously. He must be at least one hundred when he dies.

Judge Giant Jnr is 29 currently because in the Meg 2.50 Giant from 1994 he states that he is 15 years old one of the youngest rookies to attempt to gain full judge status.

As Rio said,

HH takes place in 2050ish and presumably Giant was in his late 20's you can place his birth around 2025 or just before.

So he's 74ish when Giant graduates, and pushing a 100 when he throws his last airstrike.

Most people assume that HARLEM HEROES is set in 2050 but it's just as likely it takes place in 2077. If their induction/graduation dates are anything to go by, Judge Giant senior was born c. 2079, his son Judge Giant junior was born c.2105.

The dates given in the first series of HARLEM HEROES are inconsistent. Prog 1 merely states that aeroball "has swept the world" by 2050, not that the story takes place at that particular year. When it was first published, 2000 AD's stories were often set one hundred years from the cover date. Furthermore, Giant's supposed tomb [INFERNO (Prog 72)] has the following inscription:

IN FOND MEMORY OF
JOHN 'GIANT' CLAY
2150 - 2178
DESTROYED IN HIS PRIME BY THE
HARLEM HELLCATS
R.I.P.

Assuming the above dates are typos and INFERNO (its early episodes stating the action is taking place during the 21st century) is set in 2078, this would make Giant senior twenty-nine years old when he fathers Giant junior [JUDGE DREDD 'The Academy of Law (Progs 27 - 28)]. Giant is therefore seventy-six when he dies in 2126 [WHATEVER HAPPENED TO . . . 'John "Giant" Clay?' (Meg 216)].
Not sure if pervert or cheesecake expert.

Steve Green

I seem to recall it has the date has something like 2000 in one episode of HH as well.

If you went from the 2150 birthdate and dies at 76 he would be 49 in the Academy of Law, but he looks a hell of a lot older than that.

Aeroball plays havoc with your joints!

Rio De Fideldo

I'm just basing my assumption on the dates given in WHATEVER HAPPENED TO . . . 'John "Giant" Clay?' (Meg 216)] as this is the only Judge Dredd story which gives any dates for Harlem Heroes.

Set in 2126 Clay thinks back seventy five years ago when he was in the Heroes. This makes him about 100 in WHT and also about 75 in Academy of Law which again based on his appearance is more realistic.

Rio De Fideldo

Rico Dredd 2 is probably about 28-29 in current Dredd continuity.

First shown as baby in Dredd Angel 1984-2106. If he assume he was then given accelerated aging to the age of 5 when we next see him in Blood Cadet 2000-2122 16 years later he would be about 21 when he got his full eagle.
