Do any of you wonderful people out there have a scan or pic of a med judge for me to use as a reference?

I may have been at that same fair but she did go to a few. I did have the courage to chat with Ingrid and found her a warm, friendly person with a mischievous sense of humour. I know she had been quite ill for the past few years. She also starred in Where Eagles Dare eith Eastwood and Richard Burton. Most of the Hammer actresses were chosen for their beauty and bust size but there was something more with Ingrid, she was more tham just a scream queen. Check out her most famous movie Countess Dracula, based on the Bathory legend.

Sad to hear the news about Mr Franzetta.
I remember having 'The Bounty Hunter' as a poster on my bedroom wall and revelling in the Conan paperback covers.
A true legend.

Zippo here;

I do regard myself as lucky to get my script published in 2000AD. At the time, the first Burton Batman film had just been released and comics were everywhere. Scripts were flooding into the 2000AD office. I thought it was amazing that my first attempt at comic script writing had proved successful. 2000AD was and still is the epitome of british comics and I'm proud to have been published in it.

So, I'm a one week one hit wonder; more Jonah Louie (ask yer Mum) than U2. After my future shock I had my work published in a now defunct small press comic.(Check out my Tank Girl homage TRIX with art by Mike Kinsella on Youtube)

I only joined this site the other day to chat with other fans of a comic I've followed since I was a kid.

I never asked to be in the 2000AD Creators group but I'm very honoured to be inculded in it.

And I never asked Matron for that napalm enema but I certainly got one!

A long time ago, I took a chance a sent in a future shock script. The then editor John Tomlinson graciously returned it with a few notes and suggestions. Taking his advice I re-wrote the script and sent it in again. To my amazement, he accepted it and 'The Mirror' was published in prog 666.
Dont worry X, I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting to hear about my latest submission too. There has always been a backlog. Keep da faith brudder!

Zippo calling:

Has anyone had a script published in 2000AD or elsewhere?
I had a Future Shock published many, many years ago.
My advice? Always send you best stuff, let them see how good you are. Hone each frame and page. Make you speech punchy and succinct. Try to be original - I know its hard but try.
Good luck.
