Whilst I sympathise with people who will get jerked around by 'logistical' supply issues; this enterprise is a great thing in that it is about the propaganda fide. I hope Rebellion make a profit (this idea alone deserves credit) but purely as a side effect of the dissemination of the sheer creativity hardwired into this comic. Z

I hope they don't get to Issue 68 and then announce it was always supposed to be part of a wider, 160 part series. Don't do that, Tharg, just... don't.

You all realise that this isn't actually published by Rebellion, right?

Zenith 666

Pretty sure the Spine design will limit it to 80 issues.

ZenArcade

I'm not too sure, they square pegged Strontium Dog; Rogue Trooper; ABC Warriors/Nemises/Robusters and even Shitester Dexter into Dredd world over the years. Who knows how long the compilation pic could be. Z

Indeed. And although I don't want them to pull that trick again, I kinda' do. Just don't sneak it up on us, is all.

That's what we thought about the Marvel books.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Am I right in thinking that 80 volumes is about a metre of shelf space, oh Marvel collection nerds and lbrarians? That's a lot more than the average bookcase shelf. Prepare your bespoke shelving solutions squaxx!

Zenith 666

The comic porn threads going to get much bigger.

I've just Subscribed to the Collection (Exclusive Prints, etc).

I've not yet read "America", so I'm really looking forward to it!

I've been thinking about what might be in the 'Mad City' books of the collection, and I really hope an Otto Sump volume is planned. As far as I know there's never been one, and his final story, Citizen Sump, has never even been reprinted! Pad it out with a load of 'ugly' stories and you've got a little gem of a volume that offers something different to what already exists - as well as a classic life-and-death Mega City fable.

I was originally thinking it might be an Oola Blint collection, mainly just because her first appearance was in a story called "Mad City", but I guess with a title like that the collection could be pretty much anything.

Dark Jimbo

I'm assuming it'll be 'crazy citizen' stories - The 'It Pays to be Mental' guy, Branch Moronians, Fatties, Uglies, Simps, etc.
