Okay, sorry these sizes are all over the place, I tried to put 'em into photobucket to resize them but it's going mental. So, the votes are in and counted and not even I could mess this one up!
In reverse order...
In FIFTH place we have the quite literally ZARJAZ cover of 1854 by Cliff Robinson and Dylan Teague. A real fan pleaser this one:

In FOURTH place, the esteemed Mr Brian Bolland with prog 1821. Nice to have him back...

In THIRD place is the brilliant, nostalgia drenched Gunheadz cover of Prog 1830 by Maurice Aitken (with a little help from Boo Cook...)

In SECOND place (for the second year running) we have Chris Weston's wonderful painted masterpiece for Prog 1827.

Aaaaand, the WINNER, by a country mile, was the amazing piece of design that was Leigh Gallagher's Defoe cover of Prog 1836. Congratulations to Leigh, what a brilliant year it's been for him!

Thanks to everyone who voted!
Brilliant vote country mr Wells - and what a fantastic final set :D
I didn't even think of that one by Mr Gallagher, more fool me it's a really striking bit of design :O
What a strong year for covers, eh? Here's betting that 2014 will yield even bigger belters. COR.
Excellent covers and a worthy winner indeed
Nice one!
A well deserving line-up!
Not a one of them in my top five but at the same time you can't argue with the choices at all. Testament to what a great year (again!) for covers its been.
Mr Wells I salute you and all the works you do. You are magnificent.
Congratulations to Mr Gallagher, who I believe wins the double as he walked away with the ECBT2000AD title as well! Such a strong year for covers. Looking forward to 2014!
Oh, and well done Mr Wells for all your diligent cover blogging goodness. Keep it up sir! (Any chance of a Megazine cover vote?)
I second a Meg cover vote! ;)
Brilliant lineup of winners there!
I'll sort a Meg cover vote out today!
Well done to Leigh for winning cover of the year! He's a top bloke and I'm sure he'll be thrilled with the news.
A little disappointed not to see Dave Kendal's awesome Gorehead cover making the mark, but nonetheless the top five are all Zarjaz.
And yes, we gotta have a vote for the best Meg covers - there'd been some real gems over the last year.
Deserving winners all, and many thanks to Pete for an even more voter-friendly thread than usual. Great mix of grognards and tyros in the top five.
a well deserved winner, great design.
Cracking covers, and cracking work by Pete Wells block.
Now for the Meg vote
well done to Pete as always for organising this - my top 3 were all in the top 5 so can I just say what wonderful taste our boarders have? ;)
Megazine vote is up, you greedy gits!

WHERE'S MY MASSIVE TROPHY, GODDAMMITT???!!!!!
Thank you so much guys! I can't believe Weston's cover isn't number one, in which case I can only assume that everyone who voted for me was one of my past lovers.
But as I told Mr Wells, I'm seriously grateful for this honour, especially as Defoe isn't one of 2000AD A-listers.
Thanks again and take care,
Leigh G.
