Wot I Ate On My Holidays

Who remembers  this great thread from last year when it was generally agreed that my holiday dinners looked great as did my shirts? Our friends from the colonies tried to argue that their back street shack selling 'slaw' on plastic plates was best but were proven wrong with my Applebees based evidence.

With this in mind I'd be interested to read and view other boarder's meals that they have taken on holiday. Like that little girl's school dinners blog - she totally ripped me off. I'll get the ball rolling with this excellent dinner taken in Spain at THECOSH recommended Casa Mingo. They serve any dinner you want as long as it's roast chicken. I went for the chicken. For full comments this chap does a mean Tripadvisor.

I would also point out that I have 28 photos from this trip and will post them all unless five people use the hashtag #pleasegodnomore

But what if six people use the hashtag #howdelightfulpleasecontinue
Would majority rule?  :)

Cripes, BM's gourmet tour reports are better* than going on holiday yourself.

I was hoping you'd save these for this year's advent calendar. Next year, can you get Buttonlady to film the meals so you can put 'em on Youtube?

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

No. Knowing five people hated me would send me over the edge and I'd be too busy hunting them down.

It was but whether it was 90c good I'm not sure. What the hell it was a holiday - everyone have a roll!

Nice. How was the cider?
Nice as a thirst quencher but at 4% volume you'd be on it all night to get a buzz.

Platefiller Tom, don't worry I brought it home to feed the rabbit - or 'wife' as she likes to be known.

What a great reaction to this typically self-indulgent thread - I was expecting tumbleweed city like it is over on the LETTERSENTERTAINYOU thread. I know you read it - you're all just too scared to lock horns with The Beast.

Anyway Face Stuff 2 : This is also Madrid in a central open air restaurant called 'Garbo's'. I had chicken in a sauce with mash - quite nice but the chicken was a bit gritty in places. To my right was the Cinema showing 'Dredd'. I insisted we eat here so I could observe footfall but alas the place never opened. They were also showing a local film 'Holmes & Watson : Madrid Days' which looked as crappy as its 4/10 rating suggests.
