I'll be there and will hopefully have a TPB that collects #1-7 of SGT. MIKE BATTLE:  THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO!

I'll also be issuing my "Open any issue of SMB, turn to any page and try not to laugh" Challenge.

I'll be there- as will, I think, Strip Magazine UK.

I believe them, thee, and me, will be there. I shall endeavour to shake your hand and, perhaps, even buy you a pint in recognition of the better-than-a-decade association we share within the industry, during which time I have spoken not one single word to you in the environs of meatspace.

:-)

Cheers!

Going to have to get around to booking this...

"During the convention weekend, Mr Vess will be happy to sign copies of any of his published works, for graphic novels and books that are presented; quick headshot sketches will be available. The artist will not sketch on loose paper or in sketchbooks."

I hadn't come accross Creators having stipulations before except:

Dave Gibbons will automatically draw you a man in a hat in 15 secs
Simon Bisley will ask 'tits or arse' and still manager to draw a spliff on dredd

COMMANDO FORCES

And as if by magic

And here he is putting the spliff in Dredd's Gob at Dreddcon 6.5  ;)

mygrimmbrother

That pales in comparison with the Jock dredd. Christ, that is good.

matty_ae

I like the curled hands of horror on the right-hand side

COMMANDO FORCES

Not mine, as I was okay with what he was up to.
Sadly for the next person (who is a forum member) the tale was not so good. Lets just say that that drink and the contents of the ashtray played a part and at the end a scrunching took place by the Biz. It was not a happy time for the owner of an amazing book of sketches :'(

COMMANDO FORCES

Seeing as Hi-Ex! is off next year I am seriously thinking of going for the BICS weekend. Anyone need a room share, Buttonman can vouch for me  ;)
I've just been checking the train fares and timings and it seems quite reasonable.

Bolt-01

Sounds like a rendezvous at the FutureQuake table. From there, we strike out for... the bar!

Cheers
