COMMANDO FORCES

Last year we had that article in Empire, well the latest EMPIRE issue 279 has a 9 page article inside, from page 76-85 and it's quite good.

It starts with this:-
ULTRA-VIOLENT.
UNIQUELY CONCEIVED.
HIT BY CONTROVERSY.
SHOT IN 3D. STALLONE-FREE.
IT'S THE ADAPTION 2000 AD FANS HAVE LONG BEEN WAITING FOR, BUT DREDD IS ALSO THE MOST AMBITIOUS BRITISH INDIE MOVIE EVER MADE

It covers the whole start to finish process!
It has an interview with Lena Headley and she looks gorgeous in the pic used for that boxout.
It mentions the darker Dredd predictions from John Wagner.
Tharg's Top 10 Dredd stories.

So there you go folks, pop out and spend £3.99 or be a law breaker and read it on the shelves!

If anyone finds any more decent articles then post them here, mainly so I can go and buy the mag  ;)

Wow, that is different from Empire review of Dredd 3D (which mentions lots of The Raid!)

As a heads up. The next issue of Sci-Fi Now, due out in August, will have a Dredd feature.

More I see that eagle pad more I love how they've made it a functional but still decorative part of the uniform.
Really nice.
No iPad here though so I guess I'll just have to pick up the good old non interactive version.

Totally agree. it just looks so real and authentic but it is still Dredd as we know it. (IMHO)

The more I see it, the more I'm preferring the uniform to the comics one, which is certainly something I'd never have said about the Stallone flick.

@Goaty: Thanks for the 2 Ipad pics.

Yeah, I agree re the shoulder eagle.  Now I can see it in more detail I really like it!  There's absolutely no doubt these guys are Judges.
