Any plans for Dredd comic sequels in the future?

So loved Dredd, and have downloaded the prequel comic "Top of the World, Ma-Ma" and own the comic sequel "Underbelly".

Has 2000AD announced any plans for future comic sequels to the film? While I'd love to see a film sequel, if that ends up not happening I'd happily buy any future comics set in the Dredd movie continuity.

And given Underbelly selling out quite quickly when it was released over here in the US, I'd be quite surprised if 2000AD doesn't plan on doing more. I could understand they may want to hold back some in case a sequel does happen (so as not to step on its toes or cover similar ground to a proposed sequel script), but at the same time the tales are pretty self-contained, so I don't see continuity being a big problem.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone's heard any inklings of future Dredd comic sequels by 2000AD. And would you like to see more of these comic continuations of the film verse?

Hi,

You're in luck.

There is one called Dredd:Uprise by Underbelly writer Arthur Wyatt, and Art by Paul Davidson.

Excellent! Thanks for the responses and passing along the news! Looking forward to it, and hope this means they'll continue doing occasional Dredd comic sequels. Looking forward to it!
