We've put together a quick FAQ as some people had questions about tickets: http://www.2000adonline.com/post/1357

Profound apologies for keeping on, as mother used to say, but I won't be at the venue until just after 10:00. Will there still be someone there to register my ticket/wristband, etc.

This is my first big convention and I literally have no idea what I'm doing!

Cheers

Any special variant cover for the 40th special Prog, planned for the festival, Molch-R:)

No, sorry. The 40th anniversary special won't be available at the show as it goes to print this week.

Cheers Molch-R!

You are just too good to us! Now then one final request can you magic it so that if I go to the Editor's Reunited Panel there is still space for me in the Search/Destroy screening. While at the same time getting me time to get stuff signed by Paul Marshal and John Smith...

... oh go on you can sort that for me too can't you.

Thanks guys. Mmnn that sounds familiar Steve...bit worrying..

Can you help out Molch-R? Does a 3 year old need a ticket?

Yes, I'm afraid that there is no age at which children get in free. This isn't something we've imposed ourselves - it's the venue's strict fire safety capacity, which counts babies as individuals. The event is now sold out so if you haven't got them a child ticket then I'm afraid you can't bring them in, sorry.

Thanks for the clarification Molch-R, quite understand you're bound by the rules of the venue. Mmnn best try the grandparents again...

Interesting it says limited seating for Search/Destroy and Future Shock showings but they are in the same room as earlier which doesn't say limited seating (looks like 228 seats). Is this because they will be moving walls as they are closing down maybe?
Hoping many people will have gone home by then ;)

So many combinations of things and all I'm thinking of is it'll just be queue city lol

Dunk!

Just got an email saying I can upgrade my Novotel room to include Free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, rain shower, slippers and a robe.

Slippers and a robe, people! This weekend just went off the chain.

I've just checked with the hotel and there are two bars on site, one for the Con and the other's for anyone. Those that didn't get a ticket can still come along for a drink and soak up a bit of the atmosphere, until we hit the pubs!
