I didn't preorder the floppies, but hopefully  Ballistic will get a collection from Black Mask Comics in 2014. Darick Robertson gets to let rip in his sci-fi style, never heard of the writer Adam Egypt Mortimer before though.

Saw a cover for The Maxx on Tumblr the other day. Heard mixed things about it (most negatives where from either Marvel or DC fiends anyway who just thought it was weird) but it sounds like something I'll love.

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Thats put me in a proper good mood to sleep in. Can't think of a more appropriate pairing for a sequel to such a classic comic series. :D

The few Lone Wolf & Cub heads on the board might be excited to hear of sequels - yes, plural.

First piece of news: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/10/11/look-it-moves-nycc-special-lone-wolf-cub-will-continue-in-new-sequel-series/

and further news: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/10/13/kazuo-koike-to-write-even-more-lone-wolf-cub-lots-more/

Wow, not sure how I feel about this, LW&C felt like complete tale to me, I mean of course I'm gonna have this pre-ordered as soon as I see the listing go up but

QuoteIn this new series, which picks up immediately after the climactic battle of the original series, a mysterious bearded ronin wanders onto the battlefield, assists Daigoro with the cremation/funeral of Ogami Itto and Yagyu Retsudo and assumes care of Daigoro, including retrieving the baby cart and teaching/training Daigoro in a new swordsmanship style; this series also introduces non-Japanese characters into the plotlines

doesn't really sell it me. And Kojima has passed away, I'm sure this will be good as LW&C's writing is sublime but.. I dunno  :-\.

The Unwritten is relaunching in January 2014, and if you haven't been reading it for the past 5 years, then you've been missing out on one of the best ongoing titles out there.

Now renamed The Unwritten: Apocalypse, and will run for 12 issues til the conclusion.
Apart from the undoubtedly stellar stuff coming from Casa De Tharg, this could be the series of the year for me.

Yeah! Eden: It's An Endless World returns!

No! Prophet is concluding in January!

The manga? I read the first volume of that because I dig post-apoc tales. But found it to be a preachy pile of shit.

Prophet ends in January, but will be relaunched as a mini-series so Graham can finish his story.

I just saw this and want it very much but have no idea when it's coming out...

Be mindful that's been there for a while and is very possibly... on the books but not scheduled. Top Shelf are a small company and they can't get all the things they'd like out. So it's possible it might be some time.

The listing's been updated for a confirmed February 2014 date - http://www.topshelfcomix.com/catalog/the-bojeffries-saga/871 Looks as though we may actually be getting this at last!

Are we talking Evangelion pretentious or more in line with Alien Moore?

I think Dark Horse did a bad job of marketing this as post-apocalyptic, it's more closer to a Hideo Kojima science fiction action thriller. Volume 1 is more like a prologue setting up the themes, Volume 2 jumps forward years and starts with different characters. Great action sequences in it.
