AD LANGHOLME - who is he/she??

i have 2 copies of a book called teh 'bewitching of alison allbright' signed by AD LANGHOLME, a lovely lady came to our school when i was a kid and presented them to us

now i know its a pen name of hers used to get her writing accepted more, she wrote lots of kids series and also had some books about a pony school but i cant fo the life of me remember or find out her name

she said that she had something to do with 'ghostbusters', whether it was the adaptation or the screenplay i dont know but am fast suspecting she was crackers

anybody else know who this writer was??
