list new posts

what constitutes a new post in terms of what clicking on "list new posts" will return?  Can't quite work it out - is it time based?

I think it should be everything posted since your last visit (which is marked on the right when you are logged in). Personally I'm finding "active topics" more useful since I don't look at all the new posts every time I check the board.

Yeah - that makes sense.  So unless I view each of them that time I visit , they'll be lost?  Time to switch to Active posts!

Is there a way to make that your default view?  might help some other people like me suffering from shock of the new!

I've added active threads as a favourite. Will that work?

It's annoying you can't start a new thread from the list new posts page.
