General / Can someone do me a favour please?
04 March, 2013, 12:56:34 PM
I'm still trying to get my 50% discount sorted out which Andy is very kindly doing. But it's effectively locked me out as it isn't updated yet.
So I can't buy myself a couple of the limited edition Chaos Day t-shirts which have to be bought by tomorrow.
Would anyone be willing to buy a couple for me and post them on, or if it's possible get delivered straight to me?

I'm after a couple of the XXL ones (I want to wear one and keep one for my collection :P) and they always shrink!

In hope.

Website and Forum / 50% discount in shop for subscribers
20 February, 2013, 01:43:12 PM
Thought I'd ask in here as it seems a bit more relevant.

If you get your subscription delivered somewhere other than your billing address you phone up Denise and give her your details.

I logged into the shop anyway to look at something and clicked on the pop-up about updating your records to see what was there anyway. And interestingly enough it said for people like me you give them your details and 'They will award you your 50% off voucher.'.

Well considering that they were just collecting the information and having to enter it in later on I can't see how they would be awarding the vouchers.
Am I waiting on a communication from them or is this something that would work if the system had been set up and working from the start?

How would people doing it over the phone with the very hard working Denise get this discount?
Do we have to wait until all the details are added to the system?
Just wondering.

(I get my issues sent to work as they don't get chewed up by the postman, unlike at home)

General / Free downloads of 2000ad PDF
13 January, 2008, 05:46:19 PM
Well that's what it says in The Mail on Sundays Live magazine.

'The comic is now available free in digital PDF format every week from either 2000adonline.com or clickwheel.net. The digital version comes out one week after the paper comic goes on sale.'

I wonder how many people will go there and be surprised at being asked to pay £1.50?

Apart from that it's a good article. Want to see 2000ad looking great? Use an iPhone apparantly.

General / Dan Dare book from Revolver in FP
27 December, 2007, 07:39:01 PM
I saw a new GN in FP and Borders today that collected the Revolver Dan Dare stories as well as other artwork that looks familiar so was in revovler or 2000ad.

But I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. I do remember it probably has the word tomorrow in the title and it was about £20.

Any help would be appreciated!

Games / Rogue Trooper Why?
23 July, 2006, 03:59:58 PM
I've finally bought Rogue Trooper for the PC.
And it's very nice, looks good, feels good etc but why oh why oh why doesn't it have any cheats?
I know thees a cheats menu for when you've finished it (fat lot of use that is, and low gravity ragdoll is NOT a cheat it's a fun thing to play around with I'm sure (as I've done that on other games) but it is not a cheat, cheat is infinite weapons, infinite health, that sort of thing)

I'm sure I'll play around with it more but I want to actually plough my way through, want to have proper battles with loads of weapons but I can't.
Most other FPS's seem to have lots of cheats, Unreal Tournament, Half Life 2 etc and it makes the games so much more fun when you can look around, try out all the weapons etc.

Why is it that Rebellion don't put these things in? DvD had the same problem. I just want to be able to have fun playing it.

And by an Ebay staff member but do they care?
Reported several days ago.

As I don't have a swish phone I have no experience but I didn't think you could pass on pictures like this, not as a permamnent background anyway.
