While driving last night I turned the radio on and Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night show was "in celebration of masked men on screen, stage and in classical scores."

Just after I had switched on, they had a 15 minute piece on comic characters with interviews featuring Alan Grant and Dave Gibbons.
Alan Grant said the best person to play Dredd in a film would be Bruce Forsyth!

I think it was about an hour in to the show. I turned on just before the Batman Suite was played.

I've never listened to this show before and probably never will again but it was a nice coincidence finding this on as I drove home from visiting a friend.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

That was a better than average piece about comics and heroes for the general public. Avoided some of the normal cliches so well done them. Good spot.
