Hope the Mandroid artist change is just a mistake.

I've nothing against Carl Critchlow, but Simon Coleby seems a more natural fit for the story.

I wonder why they didn't do Inferno rather than Mean Team?

A taste of his own medicine would have been getting his website removed.

"His own medicine" is not making serious accusations without any evidence.

So, is he still banned or what?

Has anyone heard from Wake on the topic, or is he away?

I wouldn't be that keen on anyone other than Gibson doing Robohunter - simply because it's a strip that has his stamp all over it, in the same that way that Ezquerra is the artist for Strontium Dog.

It would have to be an artist who can do great robot designs, and has a sense of the oddball.

Maybe Boo Cook would make an interesting choice?

Yeah, basically they want to flog off the spectrum - although there's pressure to set aside some for HD broadcasts over terrestrial as well.

The Topfield is one of the more expensive (although very good) PVRs.

There are other cheaper ones available, Watcher. I've seen some dual tuner PVRs you can pick up for around £100, there's one for that on the Argos site, called the Digihome. (Not sure how much cop it is though)

If you already have a freeview box, then you could get by with a single tuner PVR, although it would be less confusing to get a dual tuner PVR and use the old box for another TV.

The newer boxes have a standard called Freeview playback, which lets you do things like Series Link, compensate for schedule changes etc.

If you're on a budget, you could buy the cheapest/smallest freeview box to plug into your VCR's SCART and tune that to AV, although then there's the confusion of programming the box to switch to a channel and the VCR Timer as well.

A PVR is well worth it, most offer Chase Play - so you can watch a commercial channel fifteen minutes after a prog has started then skip the ads as you go.

Yeah, that's rotten news.

Hope it doesn't take too long to clear up.

So, what's to stop anyone else doing a Spartacus and sending him pictures to host of themselves with a message stuck to their heads?

He's not showing a pro-mutant tendency, just wishing for equality, so they can be judged on their actions - not on how they were born.

It's not about being pro Judges having sex either, he disagrees with it but he's accepting that it does happen, and doesn't necessarily mean that a Judge's career is over. He will allow some latitude.

It's more if a judge continues to do it that he has a problem with.

Again, I'll mention the line in Young Giant, where he says he is more disappointed with Giant compared to what he would have felt before.

As for Booth and the Mutants - ever heard of "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". He was a means to an end for the Mutant Army. Look at how quickly he became dispensible.

People also change - even Judges.

In the young Giant story, Dredd says that he was disappointed that Giant fathered a child compared to what he would have been years ago.

Dredd has mellowed with age. He's been through doubts himself and is not the same person he was 30 years ago.

I don't know why I'm bothering.

The cover to the latest prog was posted on the board a couple of weeks back as part of the replay auction.

The first episode said that mutants would be expelled from the city.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that Dredd would be going out to the Cursed Earth from the next line "Law unto the Lawless", and that the cover shown early depicted mutants - in camps - in the Cursed Earth - that Dredd was visiting.
