The quality seems to vary enormously from cinema to cinema, screen to screen, and set of goggles to set of goggles: Honestly, I don't think I'll set much store in anyone telling me 'the 3D was well/badly done' ever again.

Definitely Not Mister Pops

I saw it for the first time tonight, in 2D. There're only two 3D screenings per day in my local cinema (in Belfast), and neither were at a time that suited me. I not a big fan of 3D anyways. I don't think I was really missing much. I could imagine that, yes, it would look very cool in 3D, but not to the point where the movie lives or dies because of it.

It doesn't rely on the 3D effects to be entertaining, is what I'm trying to say.
You may quote me on that.

Don't know if this has ben posted elsewhere, but it's a pain finding anything in the humungous movie threads (especially since we've got a Search function that couldn't find it's own arse with both hands...).

urgh - mods, feel free to merge my post into that thread. There are too many separate movie threads already!
