Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let you know I've got a new mini series with IDW Comics out in December called SNAKED, written by Cliff Meth, and coloured by Christian Krank (who is bloody amazing!!)
Please, if you can, order it from your friendly neighbourhood comics shop.
Tell your friends, family, strangers on the bus..
We need your support!
We've set up a MYSPACE page, join our friends list, and send an email to win Original art from Snaked, and if you're really unlucky I'll throw in some Tank Girl and/or Metal Gear Solid doodles too!

Check the blog section for the contest..and thanks for your support!
Love and pencils,
Rufus
the art looks terrific. Are you influenced by Mort Drucker at all?
I couldn't get to any previews on the site - it must be a problem with my "web fu" (my favourite neologism), which is however good enough to put the link here

I've seen Rufus's snaked work and it is great stuff, that man is a slave to his drawing board!
Looking forward to this and other Dayglo work in the near future.
Buy it!!!
Here's some images..

Wish I had the balls (and skill) to play with textures the way Ruf does.

This is perhaps an odd thing to notice and comment on, but I think you draw hands and wrists exceptional well!
Your style comes under a heading that I normally dismiss as 'scratchy', which in theory I'm not meant to like, but I really think the pictures you've posted to this thread are superb.
Regards
Robin
He uses his balls to create texture? That's dedication to your art :)
Those look great Rufus.

Where I come from 'snaked' is a euphamism for 'had sex with' as in 'I snaked that big burd last night'.
So clearly I'm in!
Thanks guys!
I did attempt to explain the UK definition of 'Snaked', but it does kinda fit in with the theme of people getting screwed over in the
story..
I'll post some stuff the new colourist is doing soon!
:-) Rufus
New colourist? Is Christian Krank gone already?
Christian IS the new colourist...here's some from Issue 2!
I think it looks fantastic, but gory and scary for us sensitive types . i love the freedom of line in this new work, as well as the gutsy colouring
Because I picked up this weeks prog the week before the Xmas break I was without any thrills this Thursday.
However the first issue of SNAKED filled the gap.
Just wanted to say thanks to Rufus and everyone else involved in the production of this book for taking the edge of what is after all the DULLEST part of the year- cheers.
