"For about $25 (10.99 GBP) a book, that is a lot of scratch to shell out for a 100 glossy-page trade, but I feel there was more story and more value in either of these two books than in say, the recent ULTIMATES 2 PART II TPB. They make for excellent additions to any bookshelf."

Sums things up nicely, regarding 2000 AD versus a lot of US stuff.

someone amongst the @ssholes at AICN obviously is into British stuff, I've seen several other gushing reviews on there for Slain - Books of Invasion and several others too.  One of our American friends(Hipster?, Adventurer?) should see if they can get a job reviewing the UK stuff for them, get the Weekly and the Meg some coverage.
