My mammoth re-read is now in the late 900's.... and boy, i must be down to reading just Dredd and Slaine!!
Having not re-read them for many a year, i suddenly realise why i stopped buying it at thew time, namely -
grudgfather
Kid Cyborg
Vector 13
Steve white scripted Rogue trooper
Flesh
B.l.a.i.r one

god, inspector raam was bad enough, but these? they sucked the big one....

Can I just stand up and defend Time Flies tho? read back thru some of the posts, and its seems not a lot of people liked this, but i found quite clever and funny.....

I've always like Philip Bond's art, and bits of Time Flies were an okay read.

I thought the sequel was a step too far, though.

Yeah, I've just finished Time Flies as part of my re-read and quite enjoyed it - it's still not a classic though.

Urrrgh, just got to the Mark Millar Robo-Hunters though :(

La Mer - my back prog reading mission has so far taken me up to the mid-900s & the progs almost collapsing under praise for Judge Dredd the Movie (which I believe is on Sky1 this Friday).
Better set your phaser to stun.

Steve white scripted Rogue trooper

this was a low point for , especially when teamed up with very sub-standard Adlard art... it's nice to see that he's up to scratch at the moment

you think this isn't me? that's so sweet...

La Mer

what makes it worse is the fact that I like rouge, but the story jumped all over the place at this point - what with Venus blue jeans minis and all.....

I have to say that i missed the whole of mercy heights, and so i dont know how this fits into rogue trooper - tor cyan confused the heck out of me.,...

Philip Bond's a great artist.
Does nice looking females too (which always helps).
Very Jamie Hewitt in style.

Funny. I started reading at this time, and despite wondering what this crap called Rogue Trooper was, stuck with it and was pleased to see it reach the standard of today's progs. I have to say that I count myself far luckier than all of you early prog veterans - I never got to bemoan how crap the comic got (though you all seem to enjoy moaning so much).
