When I did try to draw, well over ten years ago, I was torn between something that had the preciseness and clean lines of bolland and a more scratchy McMahon/O'Neill style.  Of course I can draw like none of those chaps.  I'd settle for just being able to draw.

Of recent times, has to be Fraser-I am a bit of a mononchrome fan.Ooh,maybe Flinty!Arrgh, can't decide!

Of classic,Cam Kennedy definately sticks in me head-I remember he was my fave Dredd atrist fro years.

Matt Timson was a great suggestion. His Death Squid rocks!!!

I'd be thrilled if I can eventually match the quality of Ezquera's bloody Mary artwork. I've a brand new, full colour, 20 page strip out later this year.

I can draw a bit, but if I could draw as well as the late children's book illustrator Charles Keeping I'd be a happy pencil monkey indeed.

He's one of his from Beowulf.http://www.paddybrown.co.uk/beowulf.jpg">

Personally, I feel that the style is secondary to the storytelling skills involved. All of the above can tell a tale superbly, and THAT, dear boarders is the important bit.

In the wise words "You can't polish a turd", no matter how nice art is to look at, if the story isn't obvious then the artist isn't doing his job.

I always liked John Byrne myself, as well as Alan Davis, McMahon, etc.... I could be here all day.
