Just want to bring it up - the redirects from 2000adonline.com to 2000ad.com are only working for URLS that include the index.php

The following url redirects fine:

http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php

However, the following doesn't:

http://forums.2000adonline.com/

Instead, it shows the default "Welcome to nginx on Debian!" page.
Peas sell. But who's Brian?

Hi Dave - Is it still doing this? I can't reproduce this our end. The DNS changes ought to have filtered through to everywhere by now, though possibly not. Have you tried clearing your web browser's cache?

I noticed all my shortcuts are taking me to the forum index rather than active topics recently. Apart from that, all working fine

Can't read the forums at work any more :-(

Do you get a specific error message?

Looks like a DNS blocking firewall thing.  I'll copy and paste it in to an email to myself tomorrow, then post it here in the evening.

Guessing you already know this but hope the above is useful in any case.

This is the message I get at work - I've taken out the bits which identify where I work.  I had thought it was just a firewall thing, but maybe it is a cert issue, in which case I still have hope for catching up on the forums at lunchtimes!

Tempting to contact helpdesk to get access, but I couldn't think what work purposes I could justify it with :(

If your work is anything like mine, they've been going bathsit paranoid about cybersecurity since that big NHS hack at the weekend. On Monday we had nothing - all wifi down, no access to external websites even google. They've been patching, testing and reopening stuff since, but I still can't look at the forum at work, the bastards!

The only thing I've noticed not being able to reach is this forum (which also appeared to have the 2000adonline - > 2000ad.com redirect at about the same time, so difficult for me to tell what has caused my forum limitation).

"D (policy_denied)"
Looks like your company's firewall either doesn't like the new domain or doesn't like that the old one is forwarding you to this new one (potentially hijacked domain).

You will need to speak to the help desk to get an exception added, most companies don't have an issue with what sites you browse on your lunch break as long as its nothing offensive / illegal / 'adult' etc, there might be clause in your contract to that effect?
