Recently purchased this for the bargain price of £14.99 from Gamestation and if you like your FPS's it really is a must have.
Pretty derivitive storyline, but some fantastic graphics and it works brilliantly with the Wii-mote control.
Perfect little stocking filler for Wii owners.

Sounds like a bargain and I really do love using the Wii for shooters.

Is this a proper FPS or on rails? (really enjoyed HOTD: Overkill)

I've asked for Rogue Trooper for Christmas so hope that arrives from Santa/Mrs Tips.

(Currently ***LOVING*** Zelda - Phantom Hourglass on DS.  I like Zelda games on the Gameboy etc. but was always a bit rubbish and never got very far but I'm right into this one; I think it's the 3-Dness of it and the brilliant controls (some clever use of microphone) that make it fun.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

Looking a good (or even half decent) first person shooter for the wii.... as above is it proper FPS?

Any other FPS Wii suggestions?

Picked up Ghostbusters the other day but wont get to see it until Crimbo day but looks like a lot of fun from what I've read about it.

Haven't played The Conduit, but I wanted to mention what I've bought for my sisters step son (aged 6) for Christmas.... It's essentially a Nerf gun that fires foam bullets, but you can also slot a Wii remote into the gun and use it as a light gun to play on the Wii - it also comes packaged with a Nerf target shooting game to play it with. All for £15!

I'm probably more excited about this than all the other presents put together, though I'll never get to play it because I rarely see the kid. Gutted!

Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Yeah, it's a proper FPS, in a sort of Halo mold. HOTD Overkill was a great on rails shooter mind you and Resident Evil, The Darkside Chronicles is another great on rails game, if you enjoy the genre.
Little update: The Conduit is a tenner if you head over to Amazon!

Nerf guns Rule OK.  I've never had so much fun as shooting my chocolate-fuelled son over and over in the head with one on Christmas Day (better than years of therapy, I reckon).  Nerf guns that are also light guns - gawsh!

Devons Daddy

OH THE NERF GUN!!!!
now thats a winner, wife gets upset when i suggest shooting the foam darts at the screen.

but what a winner, i can see it now,get that franchise out there MW3 meets NERF with Natal!!!!!!
I AM VERY BUSY!

Picked this up in Tesco for £6 the other day.  It's a special edition (comes in a funny box with some concept art and a couple of unlockable bits).

I'm quite enjoying it; has a nice Goldeneye/Perfect Dark vibe to parts of it.

Good bits: I do like the one-shot or grenade can kill you bit - keeps you on your toes.  And I like the simple dissolving bodies going up in smoke (has any other game done that rather than just have them fade away) makes it look like there's a reason for corpses disappearing.  Some of the bits with the all-seeing-eye are cute too

bad bits:  Controls can go a bit shonky if you get too near scenery (some walls and stairs and definitely trees).  Mostly derivative.

(These comments are all about single-player, I don't do multiplayer online)

But for six quid, I can't complain too much.
