Jimbo, you did the story well. I'd seen the script before and remember how much of a nightmare it appeared to be. (I wasn't asked to draw it, just to help crit)

I was pleased with a lot of your designs and storytelling. The faces are a bit round on the whole though.

Hmm. I think I should apologise a bit for the Sam slade story. I wrote it a few years ago now and reading back over the script it is a bit um... wordy. That said, I wanted it to be ten pages, but had to find ways to cut that down. So I struggled to get all the info in. (This was when Zarjaz was still with Mr Lewis) I'd love to see how it turned out. Anyone have scans?

Paul (Hi!) You should be getting comp copies shouldn't you? Same for you Jimbo- It is the standard unit of payment in the small press.

I'm not sure. I haven't heard much about what's going on. I think they've been quite busy putting the issue together.

Hi Paul - I loved the ideas, it was just that considering it all had to go into A5 pags, it was bloody hard to fit it all in and still leave room for dialogue! Dunno if they left it all in. I'd like to see the finished result as much as you.

I think that's probably part of the problem. I was working to an A4 size, as that's what Zarjaz 1 and 2 were.

Can I buy this online anywhere? Pretty sure I got the last issue on ebay. And whilst I'm asking where can I get Dog's Breath, Futurequake, Solar Wind and all the other usual small press suspects? I'm a lazy bugger you see.

Dudley

Dogbreath, Futurequake, Mangaquake and Something Wicked can be bought from www.futurequake.co.uk (the shop link is ridiculously far down the page, but it's there).

ta. It's just too easy to but things online...

Bolt-01

Skurv. The new Dogbreath isn't on yet.

Soon...

Brought it, really digged the Kano image (not knowing who drew it till now). Automation Hunter was easily the best strip but can imagine it was a bastard to draw, good work jimbo.

Roll om 3!

"The Rogue Trooper strip is a cracker. Paul Glasswell has written a nice little tale"

Seriously?  Have I got a story in it?  Which is it? The Venus Blue Genes one or the Sven Hassell styled one?
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

Skurv, I have a post up, but you can buy the latest Solar Wind & OVS from the site below.  Cheers for any support!

Haven't read Zarjaz yet, I'm currently on Disraeli and Edgington's war of the worlds, lovely stuff (again apologies to people who didn't get a copy).

You should add a bunch of flowers to the shkinheads hands - that'd look great (something I saw on an issue of Crisis or Deadline once).

Oh and what does bleed mean?
