Just a link to eBay for Earthside 8 , which I've put up for sale:
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183678027579
Blimey. If I had 75 quid...
Are there any scans of this knocking around? It'd be interesting to at least see what was inside.
I put them up here a long time ago - should be under General / Earthside 8 / 1 February 2012
Eep – so you did. For some reason, I earlier only found the thread where you got the thing in the first place.
Just a last minute bump if anyone's still interested in this...?
If not , it goes in the bin
Nobody's going to pay £75 for that.
... And if you're gonna put it in the bulb anyway, if it doesn't sell, you might as well lower the price.
You'd hope that was a joke. I can't imagine strontium71 is really going to chuck a piece of comics history in the trash.
I'd have thought the little laughing face at the end would have given it away that , of course I was joking ;) But yeah I'll just relist it if it doesn't sell.

And one for the 'over my head' thread, on my part.
I swear, sometimes when I shake my head, I hear a rattling sound...

You're right. I'll have to console myself with the money it just sold for...

Well to be fair he was right. No one is paying £75 for it.
Well done on getting £88.
Well, fuck me!
The irony here is that anyone that daft probably hasn't learned to read yet.

Seems like a pretty fair price for an unreleased comic. And a small piece of IPC history.

Totally unfair. Whatever anyone wants to spend their hard earned money on is their business , not yours .
To label them as illiterate smacks of plain bullshit. Keep your opinions to yourself , and if it bothers you that much what people are willing to spend on my listings , or anyone else's for that matter , don't taint my thread with them please.
If I'd seen this earlier I would have paid over £88...And I can read. Have been able now for about 45 years or so...
Wish I'd seen it earlier as well....
Been looking for one of these for a long time! :(
Is Canned Heat really in there?
Maybe I should check the scans out? ;-)
I'm listing here all the time , much to the chagrin of some I bet
Lots of rare stuff going on eBay Guy...
I'll give you 28 quid (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=29742.msg542993#msg542993) for it. Cheers for the scans (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=35276.msg649737#msg649737), bud.

This leaves only two possibilities:
1. They bought it coincidentally just by randomly pressing buttons on the Internet.
2. Whilst they themselves cannot read, they have a compatriot who can, who they instructed to purchase said item on their behalf. Probably in this case they will have them read it to them when it arrives.
