Do we know in which Prog part 10 of 'Dragontamer' will be?

I must agree with Jacqusie that I preferred McConville's take on Devlin to Kot's. Some of the latter's story-telling is not too bad, but the whole 'Demon in a Dildo' thing has become a bit ridiculous. Of course, nothing even comes close to John Smith's early work on the character (but I guess this goes without saying).

I guess Pat saying that episode ten of 'Dragontamer' will be "the very last episode" means that this really is the end of 'Web of Weird' and the end of Slaine. I for one will be quite sad - it's been a roller-coaster ride but overall one that I have enjoyed.

Could anyone tell me what Hachette's packaging is like these days and what are the chances of an item being delivered damaged? I have just ordered one item from them after a very long hiatus and wondered if they are a bit better at packaging and more professional than they used to be? Thank you.

Interesting article; thanks for sharing, Ming. Is it just the Bolland stuff that is missing or is a lot of early 2000ad material no longer available?

I would imagine the vast amount of early 2000AD art is lost/destroyed, based on the stories of IPC's mistreatment of alot of pages.
Using original pages from the 50s Eagle to soak up a leak?!?
Even in those days, what kind of madman would do that?!

A real shame. I guess they knew not what folly they were committing and could have saved a lot of people a lot of angst now.

Woolly - What's the story with the infamous lost/stolen art?

I hope that SmallBlueThing is right and there is more to this 'Web of Weird' saga. I know latter-day Slaine is not highly regarded on this forum, but I personally would like more.

Can anyone confirm if the upcoming release 'Thistlebone' will definitely be a hardcover as Forbidden Planet has it listed on their website as a trade paperback?
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone received their copy of 'Greysuit' yet? If so, could you say whether it includes the entire story?

I'm going with Big Ron Smith on this one.

I have to agree with Southstreeter - early McMahon was great, but I didn't warm to his later more experimental style. Carlos moves forward into the Final!

Both artists are amazing. But for me, Big Ron Smith just wings it.

Has 140 books been definitively confirmed as the limit for this series, or has it been left open that there might be a further extension? I ask this question as there are some titles which will not be complete after 140 editions (Stickleback, Defoe, Grey Area - I'm looking at you!)

If Massimo beats Bolland, then he beats McMahon as well in my book!
