I'm a bit late with this one, it was supposed to be all wrapped up the week after I released my review of Beyond 2000AD. So I'm over a month out... Apologies to Davey for that.

I can tell you that I really enjoyed this anthology and highly recommend you take a look if you haven't already.

Regarding the ostrich - haha, well...on a trip to Mexico several years back I saw an ostrich farm (seriously) and our guide said something that I remember as "ostriches are mean, but they're loyal". I had no idea how an ostrich could be loyal, but his words (as I remember them) stuck with me; so when deciding on El Bigote's trusty steed, I hit upon...an ostrich. Yep.

Ha! Cool, nice to weave in odd realisms that no one will know about.

In Yorkshire we have several Llama farms... or in some cases sheep farms with LLamas there to guard the sheep. And in my own village there is an Ostrich farm.
