Rawr-shach, with the ch pronounced as in the Scottish "loch." There's no other way to write that last sound, but English people find it very difficult to pronounce.

Well, I now know what Doug Hutchison looks like. I still think Steve Buscemi would be better. Mind you, Jen's idea is a good one. Anyway, I won't be joining the grass roots campaign.

Concrete, m'man, those pictures really do make a great case - well done. I'll join your campaign, on condition that you help me start my own grassroots movement to ensure that this doomed movie never, EVER gets made.

Sorry, I think you've hit on something here, but (starts broken record) 'Watchmen' is only great because it is a comic - it's an absolute masterclass in the use of the medium, rather than having a particularly compelling or original story/character/setting. And the ending has been somewhat overtaken by real events. Don't get me wrong, it's my favourite piece of comics writing of all time and I've re-read my copy until the covers came off, but any movie will be a crushing disappointment, inspired casting aside.

As to pronounciation, it has to be 'raw shark', said in a Noo Yawk accent. As in: "Raw Shark? Why would I want to know where to find...?"

Aside: If one more person tells me that they really enjoyed 'V for Vendetta', only for me to discover halfway through my David Lloyd appreciation monologue that they mean the sodding movie, I'll be ill.

Wasn't John Hurt up for Rorscharch at one point? Possibly when Terry Gilliam was still involved.
