Nice idea and video. You're taking a chance when you place your awful/incomprehensible lyrics up front and centre though :-)

Bliss - utter bliss.

Drain by Rotten Sound. A rarity in music (for me) in the sense that I can't fault a single track on the album.

It's intense but leans more towards Heavy/Thrash metal rather than the Crust/Grind of previous releases. There's little in the way of surface noise* which has become synonymous with extreme/underground metal.

Excellent album and well worth a purchase!

Cheers

*Surface noise can be used to great effect but it can also drown out any semblance of a tune if not mixed properly. It's probably worth noting that said music effect was actually born from cheap production, back in the day, rather than the stylistic choice of modern artists/producers.

The new Slipknot album is fantastic. The previous one left me cold but this one's brought me right back into the fold.

Listened to the new Slipknot album the other day, liked the first half but found the second half a bit meh. Saying that, I've never been that much a fan of "classic" Slipknot (their high point to my tastes was Vol 3) but this seems to have gone down well with those who are.

Not sure about the vocals, but I love how brutal it sounds.

The new Babymetal album. It's... good. Ish. Not so sure about the 'world music' element that's creeped in.

Goodbye Blue Monday. They're a punk band and really fucking good. Check them out.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Ghosteen.

Saw a massive billboard poster for that a few months ago - is the album any good?  I've not heard anything I really like since Murder Ballads </old codger>

Oh, and as for what I've been listening to?  Little Big - I'd never even heard of this Russian art collective until about two days ago (when it was announced they were representing the Russian Federation at the next Eurovision) but now I'm addicted.  Though I have to admit it's as much for the ... interesting ... videos as anything else...

Definitely Not Mister Pops

You may quote me on that.
