John Wagner, Mick McMahon and Jock are already listed as guests.

And Dave Gibbons has tweeted that he's attending.

Hmmm- think we need to just watch the skies and let the folk at TB sort themselves out...

Yep, Leeds isn't that big of a city so most places are walkable. It's more a case of if you want a hotel that's right on top of the event.

The dates seem to coincide with Leeds German Market, which usually takes place in the same square as the Thought Bubble main tent. Which 'suggests' some kind of alterations to the location.

A great little convention.

Reminded me of the old Doctor Who and Star Trek conventions, that you see photos of, before they returned to mainstream and went mega. When they were being kept alive by the fandom.

I went to a Blakes 7 convention last year and it had a similar vibe. Fan fuelled and very positive.

The guest list was insanely good. I wanted to grab a chat with Mick McMahon and thought I'd wait until his queue went down, but it never happened.

I was letting people try on my Planet Replicas Judge costumes. Lots of takers (see photo of a small selection). Planet Replicas seemed to be shifting some stock. Lots of interest and feedback on their up coming products.

Yep, that's hit the nostalgia button hard and caused my wallet to spring open.

Great news.

You'd hope that the collected edition would open up some other retails routes, like book shops etc., who don't stock single issue comics.

Looking forward to the next series.

Cool!

BTW the Vice Press print was an additional one they gave us, when they heard it was for charity. They'd already given a B&W version for the 2000 AD Panel.

Many thanks to James and Matt at Vice Press.

1) If you're talking about Molcher, it's unlikely he saw that particular thrill mail.
2) ISN'T THE JOB OF PR TO GET YOU EXCITED ABOUT SOMETHING?

Can I be the first to congratulate Mike on his graduation to 'one name celebrity' status.

Prince, Beyonce, Cher, Elvis and now Molcher.

Well done!

Interesting article from Fan Film Follies, regarding the end of the Fan Film 'Renaissance'.
