...was wondering if anyone could help me, ive bought some of the Black Flame novels which i find very entertaining especially the Strontium Dog ones, however another old favourite seems to have surface, namely fiends of the Eastern Front, quite simply my question is this, is this a completely new adventure or is it a novel version of the classic 2000ad comic strip???...

Rex Banner

Completely new.

First of a trilogy & very good too.

It's a new story. Turning a 44-page comic strip into a 70,000 word would have been the padding job of the century, let alone into a trilogy of novels.

Where possible, I've endeavoured to ensure the novels don't contradict the source material. I think the only obvious deviation comes in Twilight of the Dead, the final book in the trilogy.

The first two novels in the trilogy are standalone stories. The third can be read in isolation, but features the survivors from the first two books in the series.

From the first novels it seems like these are worthy succesors to it. Plus, y'know, Stukas.

Hopefully by book II the Tiger tank will have been invented.
