Well my Queen, I WAS hoping to go to Bristol, but mini Bolt has nabbed the time (and cash) to go to Prague with his school.

For my own requirements but also available for those people not in an area served by the Metro, I have collated Wk 1's strip.

I know it will be on the Metro website soon (NSS) but if anybody wants to see it tomorrow, then sendmail me and I'll Email it tomorrow.

Darryl: I saw 1-6 of Akira in Ottokars the other week, so It's all out there.

The epic edition is lovely as it is in colour, and whilst on honeymoon in Spain I managed to pick up the spanish edition, which was a lovely A4 sized piece called: La Autopista!

Spicy man: The Akira volumes are HUGE so I doubt that a collection of all the story would be possible.

IIRC Akira is complete in 6 volumes, and a gorgeous thing it is too. Must get round to replacing my old Epic editions some day.

Keep an eye open for DOMU too. It explores some of the same territory and is much slimmer.

These sound like good ideas David, especially after the excitement raised by the board when Goddard/Teague included the graphitti wall, Devon's Daddy diner etc...

It could even be done as a comp in the Xmas prog.

Dont know about the web-site yet, they are probably going to be behind, but as I dont frequent the site I don't know.

My lad got me todays Metro, and the first episode is inside!

I am going to be building up a scan library for these (a la Marbles) so when I have a full weeks I will Sendmail you to sort out something.
