Website and Forum / Webshop updated 22 Aug 2019
22 August, 2019, 04:13:21 PM
As part of our on-going work to improve the 2000 AD web shop, we've deployed a significant update to the 2000 AD web shop today, primarily addressing a number of usability issues, especially relating to the management of addresses and payment methods, but we've also tried to make the user interface for checkout clearer and more consistent, which will hopefully make it more straightforward to use. There are also some layout improvements for browsers on mobile devices.

Hi - it's come to our attention that, following a major update to the 2000 AD web shop yesterday (switching the payments processor for most subscription payments to Stripe, which should be less problematic than Sage Pay), we seem to have broken the functionality to fbe able to download your purchase digital products on that site.

But fear not, there is a workaround whilst we look into fixing this (hopefully today), or you can simply switch to this method from now on - simply head over to the Rebellion Account portal and login with your usual email address/password that you use for the 2000 AD web store, you should be able to access all your 2000 AD downloads here: https://account.rebellion.co.uk/download

This alternative means of downloading your purchases also lists anything that you may have purchased via our 2000 AD mobile apps, including subscription issues, which you can download as DRM-free PDF and/or CBZ files.

I'll post here when we've fixed the downloads issue on the 2000 AD web store

The Rebellion Account Portal / 2000 AD Digital Store has been updated, it now has a shopping basket payment flow, so you don't have to checkout out multiple times when buying many items at once anymore, although when purchasing digital subscriptions, these don't go through the shopping basket.

This update also contains a whole host of other improvements, including clearer navigation, a "Latest Releases" section, that shows all recently released products, as well as highlighting the latest Prog and Meg, a "My Downloads" section (if logged in, under your Account drop-down, indicated by your registered email address), which lists all your owned digital products in one place, also all owned products now show the date acquired. When we have active offers, a "Sale" section will also display, listing all sale items in one place.

Also last week we released the 2003 Prog and 2003 Meg back issues, including discounted collection "bundles" for buying whole years (as for all back issue Progs and Meg years up to and including 2013). The last (Christmas) Prog from 2002 will also be released soon, as this contains part one of the most of the stories in the early 2003 Progs, but there were some issues with making this available last week.

More new features and website improvements to follow soon...

The forum search functionality has (finally) been re-enabled, apologies that we had to take this offline for bit, there were some problems with it, but we think these have now been fixed.

We need to take our database cluster offline for about an hour on Tuesday 1st December 2015 from 5am GMT for some essential maintenance, following problems with this over the weekend. This will cause the main 2000 AD website and web shop to be temporarily unavailable, also during this period the 2000 AD iOS and Android apps will be unable to communicate with their respective backends, which could cause problems. The 2000 AD forum should be unaffected, however.
