Aren't all "working class" people subservient (to their "middle class" and "upper class" masters) by definition?

I would say more powerless, there is parts of working class society that believe anything which is told to them by the press, politicians and tv like all unemployed working class people are scroungers etc, you can blame TV programmes like jeremy kyle and newspapers like the sun for this.

Its just deflection tactics to me, shift the blame to a more vulnerable part of society so they are not targeted, it was the trade unions and miners in the 70's 80's and now in the 2000's its the unemployed etc who are the target now.

Sorry for the rant.

what infuriated me most was her saying how her family were on benefits but they were hard working benefitistas not like these modern scroungers who don't deserve support like what her family did.....
Some like that round here, there is nothing worse and more divisive then subservient working class people.

My gripes

Facebook, people having to say publically if they farted(thats a joke but its not too far fetched) or private stuff what should say private, and sharing every detail of there life, and it makes people antisocial, or maybe im just antisocial lol, im glad i dont use it anymore.

people recording with massive smart phones at concerts, the need to record something instead of just watching and enjoying, and they get in the f****** way.

People driving and using phones at the same time, and also people using there phones while walking and not looking where they are going.

having to pay 20p to go to the bog

remakes of remakes of remakes

self service checkouts, just give someone a till job instead of using technology and being greedy.

Force Awakens is seriously flawed movie, but it thunders along and has some genuinely charming moments and some really likable (albeit underwritten) new characters. I'd be tempted to say that the first hour is pretty much spot on

THE FORCE AWAKENS was an uninspired reboot. I was already grumbling at some hitherto unknown* version of the Empire or whatever the First Order is supposed to be even before I watched the blessed thing. Rey's too powerful. The fan service tedious. And anyone being able to use a lightsaber diminishes them as weapons.

That was my problem with it, at first there was the excitement of seeing a new star wars film in the cinema then you realize its too much like a new hope imo.

Hopefully the last jedi will try to be different, id rather not see the same film in a different package.
