That was all a bit wibbly wobbly timey-wimey. But enjoyable. And I do like a fez.

I remember reading an interview with Dez Skinn saying Gary Leach had to give up drawing Miracleman because he was trying to put in all the detail Alan was listing, including dustmotes! He must have been driven insane!

I don't think I could cope with a Moore script. I'd give it one read and think "you'll get what you're bloody well given me lad!"

Does Mignola count? I don't know much about his artistic process/rate but I thought he had to move to just writing comics because of the success of Hellboy and he wanted to focus on that and had other projects he also wanted to do.


I think so just from the fact that his page rate was decreasing rapidly before he even started really expanding his BPRD universe

According to the latest interview in the new Comic Heroes magazine, Mignola will once again take over art duties on Hellboy as he wants to be the one to draw the endgame. So, yeah, he counts. He's back in the game as a pencil monkey. And about time.

Space Girls and Valkyries both deserve a mention, and although Cradlegrave didn't tickle my willy the way it did some others on the board, I don't think it deserves to be in the bottom five.

Thankfully, I missed the 90's (I lapsed) so didn't get to see the paint-with-mud years, but some of the stuff I've seen reprinted with the Meg has left me cold
