Akira may actually have only been released in Japan in 1988. Not until 1991 in UK apparently.

It's twenty years (nearly) since this started. Was initially just called 'Enterprise,' of course.
Thinking of giving it a go. What do people think? (am not concerned about spoilers myself).
Did it work as a prequel?
Another question - which prequels to anything do you think have worked best?
