Interestingly the Thrillcast with Robin Smith explained that the Zarjaz mock-up was just done with material that had already been released - i think he mentioned Redondo's Nemesis Book 2

This is the same method Dez Skinn seems to have favouted with his Warrior 0

Id still be interested in them...

The idea of each artist doing a panel - and then maybe auctioning it off for charity is genius.
You're correct though if it wasn't commissioned then it still belongs to Alan.

I just love unearthing weird curios.
I should have remembered your excellent work uncovering the Zarjaz logo David. (Beyond 2000AD, right?)

Whilst I've got your attention/s, has any artists ever had a go at drawing this?

The Dredd Fortnightly strips are well documented
It just needs a cover to look like this https://youtu.be/RloXdGGvulc

any chance of:

Judge Dredd Fortnightly mock-up - Judge Anderson / Helltreckers / Blockers etc.
Zarjaz - the Warrior rival mock-up - with the Mick McMahon painted cover
Alternity / Earthside 8 - both versions

That's all...

Classifieds / Re: Advice on posting original art

How do you avoid the risk of the 'empty box' scam where the buyer claims the artwork wasn't inside?
I'm always concerned paypal will always believe the buyer over the seller?

I've just picked up the Titan Book Alan Moore's Twisted Times and there's an incredible cover and introduction from Alan himself.
I'd love this.

But then I do like introductions and I wouldn't mind a digital collection of all the Matt Smith/Molcher essays & intros from the Hachette partworks. I do like reading about comics.

Blank Sketch covers - say of the next jumping on prog would be very welcome.
I'd certainly pay a premium for them or buy in bulk.
To my knowledge only IDW offered a Dredd one once.

Other Reviews / Re: Guatemala

I agree on the Cal story being weak especially out of context (it was in a centenary special Prog 2000) It was nice to collect as much Wagner Dredd as possible as well as Ezquerra's final stuff. I think that's the way I judged it - rather than the stories being related to Guatemala.
