It would be good if Slaine met Conan.

You might wish they'd meet, but Slaine doesn't; Conan would smite Slaine and bed Niamh.

At the same time.

Don't make me summon the Mayor.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Summon him, for we need him as we have never needed him before!

But they are both Celtic there must be a story there and Thor would be good too!

Conan and Thor met in Marvel's 'What If..,?' series. They fought to a draw. Then Thor died. Then Conan took Mjolner up the mountain to smite Crom and become a god.

If they met they would probably bed each other, all that muscle is a bit too homo erotic.

No wonder I didn't find this thread earlier,

It's really hard to measure them up against one another, exactly.

Conan isn't warped, but does he really need to be.

Does this make him weaker or stronger in other respects.

In the past, it's been documented that Slaine makes Conan look like a boyscout.

Don't quote me on this comparison!

Perhaps Slaine would befriend Conan and they would treat each other as brother coming from similer origins. I suspect that Conan is more eastern than Slaine

Afraid I don't know enough about Conan to tell for sure.

Sorry to double post, but it's been debated on other forums before....

Alot of the arguments make sence to me.

I thought you might find them interesting.

In Robert E. Howard's "history" Conan's Cimmerian's were proto-Celts, so if Conan's world and Slaine's world are one and the same, Conan would be Slaine's direct ancestor, and they both would be descendants of Kull's Atlanteans.

But they're not. And they'll never meet up.

Thank goodness.

And btw, Conan doesn't need a warp spasm to bail himself out of danger. Slaine is a pretty boy pansy.

Actualley, their difference in gods might be a problem.

Not even sure if Conan's Crom corresponds with the great Maggot god in Slaine

Unless, Danu sends Slaine back to Conan's time. For what ever reason. Assuming they both occupy the same univerce.

This would be Slaine's first fictious crossover.

There have been rumors of a Conan/Groo crossover since both characters ended up with Dark Horse. Sadly, it hasn't happened yet...
